The Long Beach Climate Action Plan (LB CAP) was adopted by the City Council on August 16, 2022. The implementation of the LB CAP is an ongoing, collaborative process between the City, its partners, and the community to make Long Beach a safer, healthier, and more sustainable place to live, work, and play. The City aims to accomplish this by implementing LB CAP action items that work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, mitigate the effects of climate change, enhance economic vitality, and improve the quality of life in Long Beach.
Elevate 28 Dashboard
The Elevate 28 Infrastructure Investment Plan combines the approved Measure A Five Year Infrastructure plan approved in FY23 along with the three new categories: 2028 Olympic Legacy, Community & Cultural Investments, and Gold Medal Park Refresh projects.
Police Stop Data (RIPA)

The Long Beach Police Department believes in community engagement, transparency and accountability. Below is data collected from the Racial and Identity Profiling Act (RIPA) that our department is performing a comprehensive analysis to ensure we are upholding the constitutional rights of all individuals. As part of our commitment to transparency, we are providing the raw RIPA data to our community through this portal, which also provides the community with tools to further understand the data through visualization.
Go Long Beach Service Requests

Go Long Beach is the City's constituent reporting system (also known as 311). The current version of the app launched in late September, 2021. This dashboard highlights some of the trends from the Go Long Beach app and is based on the Go Long Beach Service Requests Dataset.
Long Beach Recovery Act (LBRA) Updates

On March 16, 2021, the City Council approved the Long Beach Recovery Act, becoming one of the first major cities to approve a COVID-19 recovery program utilizing federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. The Recovery Act provides funding to support three targeted categories - Economic Recovery, Healthy and Safe Community, and Securing Our City’s Future.
Homelessness Digital Dashboard

Homelessness is a long-term regional challenge that was on the decline for much of the 2010s. However, due to the pandemic, many people lost their jobs and struggled to find affordable housing or suffered emotional and physical impacts that caused them to lose permanent housing, resulting in drastic increases in homelessness in Long Beach and throughout the region. In effort to address the ongoing issues of homelessness in Long Beach, the City proclaimed a local state of emergency on January 10, 2023.
